51 Reg, so thats 2001 sorry. Miles, 14 something. I know a little high but has been serviced and it seems sound.
Altho, its a little noisy. So looking for a silencer of some type.

I think the main thing that put people off is it dosnt have a stand (He buggered it up) But a side stand will do. Also Kick start needed doing. But, the seller was good and fixed that. Its a start, something to get used to and hopefully move up the scales.

Having owned two scooters, i can honestly say that the most fun you can have is by filling the underseat area with napalm or glycerol trinitrate, pointing it at the nearest brick wall whilst at full speed and bailing out.

I notice that i have a lack of hooves, thick bodily hair and tail. I also only have two legs, rendering your advice useless on me. However, my advice to you will still make for one hell of a show.

1) as ive said before somewhere else my other half wont let me get a bigish bike yet (NSR, RS ect)
2) For what i need it for (work ect) there is just no point in getting anything bigger (BTW Portsmouth is coming to 20Mph through out the intire city soon!) Sad

Dont get me wrong I would love to ride a bigger bike. But just not yet. Very Happy

Scooters are more fun when used in their element. Twisty back lanes can be fun when you figure out the balance and they're more pleasant to use in traffic (not that I'm any less comfortable with a clutch, of course!).

I took it out for a quick spin (On a quiet road next to mine) As I have no CBT yet Embarassed
(Yes No CBT, but couldnt miss a cheap bike) It pulls away great, nippy little thing.
First thing is to change the exhaust. Way way too noisy for me Rolling Eyes Back to the standard soon!

For a first time user of bikes I think a geared one was out of the question for me. I know the Gilaras are auto, hmmmmm.
