What are strange bunch of people!

I read the first few posts, then got bored.

Sorry if I seem rude, but I just couldn't wait to stick my bit in.

Women don't seem to understand that they are replaceable. No matter what, there is always another mug who will look after you and try to be your mum because she thinks that's what you want. All you have to do is play along until she gets bored and thinks the grass is greener elsewhere. When she wants to go, she goes, and you find another. Give the next one a sob story, she thinks she loves you and you're back where you were.

Eventually you get too old to play the game so you have to put in a bit more effort (like make her feel special now and again), but it all amounts to the same thing. You either give her the attention now at a young age and get stuck with her for the rest of your life, or you let her go of her own accord (so you're not the bad guy) and try something new. New does not always mean better, but as long as you don't have children with it then you can just find something else.

The problems really start when children come along. Then, no matter what, you're always associated with it until the children are a lot older.

I don't get all this love stuff. We use each other and that's that. How tolerant we are, or how much we take each other for granted is what makes it go the distance. Love is what you feel for your children.

I get the feeling with that attitude I'll die lonely!! I'm still with the mother of my children though. I couldn't live without seeing their beautiful little faces every day.

To you my good man, I'd say fuck this one and her fucked up family off. Save up some pennies, go and see the world and try a different chick in each country. Find a culture and food that you like and try that out for a while. They are the same the world over. They all want to look after you if you're nice enough (and if they don't, what's their purpose?). Only question is........for how long? 5 years, 10 years?

Be wise with the one you decide to have children with. Really think about wether you will still be with it in 10 years time. Look at the family too. Very important, after all, they brought her up.

My old dad said to me "Never go with a woman that has more problems than yourself" He has been proved correct too many times.

Either way, good luck. Most of all, have fun. Always try to do what you enjoy doing.

Im starting to feel alot better now this week i have plans.

But one thing i need to establish is,

I can go in the Army, and meet new friends travel the world and shit and most likely go to Iraq/Afganishan and shit myself.

Or

I can get a new job, looking at Banks, Travel agents etc blah blah.
This involves staying in Manchester and most likely when get a new job making new friends and keeping my original friends.

Im going to Amsterdam in November, so that should be good.

Just not sure what do with my life now, deep down all i really really want eventually, is a alright job, a Car, a bike, my mates going out few days of the week, i Mancunian accented girl friend who is also like a friend but the added extra of just spending time with her.

Yeah looking forward to just relaxing with my Aunty and Uncle and my two cousins in nice private villa.

I think to fully get over her, i have to start doing stuff just for me.

1. Thinking of getting a new car

2. Joined a gym so will be going there most days

3. Decide what job i want to do

4. Go out with mates round town and pub and their houses etc

5. Get my room all sorted, and buy new stuff

6. Save up for Amsterdam in November & Australia in January for my 21st birthday.

And then maybe when ive done all the above and got setteled i can perhaps get with a new parter. But to be honest, i dont need a girlfriend for a while yet at all.

They're all gorgeous for a few months then they turn into monsters. Get round the world and taste a bit of what other countries can offer.

Majorca is a good start. Some lovely looking bints there. Try South America. Those Brasilians know how to have fun, and their mothers' teach them well. (You always need a clean house and clean clothes and good food)

Trust me on this. I'm 38 and have had the most fun, until I got stuck. They ain't worth the tears. As one goes, sure enough there's always another to take her place.

In no time at all she'll become a distant memory and you'll be concentrating on the next one. It smarts for now, but be positive. At the end of the day it's her loss.

By the way, don't go back. She'll think she's the boss and that is no good.

Well i think after last night, just was out with my mates in Bury, just had a bloody brilliant night out, only one of us pulled, but end of the day, we had such a laugh and such a rave, who the fuck cares. My mates mean more to me than any girl ever will. So just going to get my list of things sorted, which i hope to achieve by the end of the year, ive done one, just need the other two doing now.

And maybe by christmas will have found somebody to fall in love with and start the process all over again.

But im so much happier now than i was when i first posted this topic, so thanks for the support advice, hell even the criticism from zrx spurred me on

Well not really to cheer me up, just she asked me what i wanted to do for my 21st, and i said i really wanna go to Australia to see my best mate who ive not seen for 4 years since i last went. So she said she'll pay for my flight just ive gotta save up an extra £1000 for spends I know its not till january the 10th but i cant fucking wait
