I was actually surprisingly calm up until the night before which is rather unlike me. Didn't get to sleep until about 1-2am because of anxiousness/nervousness but everything went fine nonetheless.

You'll be fine.

There is a post on here too about someone takin Kalms to help, i'll see if i can find it.

A friend of mine said he took some Kalms and they helped him relax on the day
of his driving test and another friend has recently done his cbt and he did the
same thing and they recon it helped a little bit, Smile worth a shot if your nerves
are getting the better of you, Smile.

Im considering it a little, Razz depends on how bad i feel the day before i suppose...

Nah I wasnt, but then I'd been riding forever on a 125 when the Law changed and I had to do my CBT - so I thought sod it and went for the DAS.. did the whole thing in 4 days. The only thing I was a bit wary about was my U-turn, so the day before my test I took the bike into the carpark and practiced doing a figure of 8 around the cones, so much so I had that bike turning on a sixpence. That was that, next day, test day - as soon as I'd done the U-turn, 2nd thing you do after emergency stop - I was grinning from ear to ear, as i knew I was faultless in every other area.

I was confident and happy, and I proved myself without a hitch.

I wasn't nervous til an hour before my test. Had a last 40 minute practise and must have done just about everything wrong possible. Missed 2 changes of speed restriction, U turns which had been faultless suddenly where nervous (still never put a foot down though Wink) and generally I was just crap.

As soon as the test started though I was fine. Thing is you're used to having an instructor chattering in your ear constantly and telling you where you could improve, plus mine always sat a few feet off my back wheel. The examiner on the other hand was totally calm and rode about 10M behind me, plus of course they simply issue instructions - they're not telling you how you just got your positioning wrong on that last roundabout, so you can concentrate fully on whats going to happen rather than what did. I just felt a lot more relaxed than I had on the normal lessons.

Good luck Smile
