hey guys my gs500e has just been delivered today restricted to 33bhp with the certificate etc now the guy who delivered it says hes 99% sure i can do my bike lessons on the gs500 as long as it has L plates and im with an instructor? could someone please shed some light on this if this is true would it be possible to take my test on it aswell? cheer

If you are going for das you can but as you say you are goibg for 33bhp im 95% sure you have to do it on a 125cc.

How old are you?

If you're over 21 you can do DAS, which means you could ride the GS with an instructor. HOWEVER as DAS bike has to be over 46 bhp, so as yours is restricted, ir doesn't quailfy. If you want to use your own bike for DAS, quite a few insurers will give you 14 days cover before you've got your full licence, but you still HAVE to be with an instructor.

If you're under 21, sorry you're out of luck. 125's only till you've passed your test.
