Google's american bias

Why oh fu**in why, when I punch in the addresses for flats I'm looking at in England (and despite typing ',uk' at the end) does it still take me to places in America.

WTF!?

I just typed directions for east London, and it took me from a start point in middle America, to an end point somewhere on the east coast of the U.S.


Am I doing something wrong? Or does everyone have this issue?

Might had something to do with the fact its an american company, Oh and america is not original and copies all our town names

Edit, just saw it was google earth. Try starting with London first then working your way in.

do the search whilst the map is zoomed in on london/england. It seems to narrow the search to what's on the screen.
