i'm new, but i won't have a bike untill hopefully the end of july, but maybe august.

how about we try to get a meeting each month where everyone turns up, so any new people can meet everyone.

It's called Stockley/ Boxhill/ Reading/ Slough Razz

Seriosuly though, once you have a bike, just keep and eye on the forums, or come into IRC and just come along when we decided we are going somewhere

cool

oh i found some gorgeous roads today that made me so angry i didn't have a bike, especially on a day like today. i got up to about 110mph in my car, but would have easily beaten that on a bike. i don't if any of you know them.... they are near chobham common, it's a detour that i found because the bridge i normally used was closed.

if no one knows them, i'll have to show you them, there are no cameras and nowhere for poilce to hide!!

considering most newbies are learners who cant go on motorways and have fuck all long distance riding experience it makes things difficult, not to mention the high risk of getting lost taking loads of A roads.
I suggest setting up a buddy system where a member of the board with knowledge of the route etc. can lead the local newbies to wherever its held. I know i wouldnt mind coming but i'd be scared of getting lost on my own Embarassed

yeah true, but i would look at bit weird. it would be handy to get to know more about bikes and i think some people have vfr400s which is what i want to get so i could come and see some.

i think me and a fair few of the young'ns have exams for a while. mine finish on june 20th, and i'm going royal ascot on the saturday, but if it is after that anf before 4th july then i'll be up for it
