Right, in the flat next door the guy has just had a BT bloke come round and install a plug in the wall and given them a line with a number.
Then he has gone and got a Broadband provider and is now on the net.

I want it to daddy!

Who do i call? (numbers would be great)

What do i say to them? (as in what do i need?)

Who do i use for broadband, obviously i want fucking cheap and mega mega fast bastid connection for a few pence.
But anything close will do.

Ring BT ask for a phone line.

Once line is in ring broadband provider and ask for broadband once your line is in.

I used cable for broadband for stupid fast speeds.


Stupid prices though, thank god the company paid! £48 per month for 10Mb

Once I get my arse out to get a PC I think we are going to use Talk Talk as we are already with them on the phone. Take their top package and broadband is included

NTL have some good deals at the moment i think. There internet is good but customer service can sometimes suck & they don't seem to know what there doing. Apart from this i've had little problom with the actual internet. £17.99 for 1mb.

Avoid NTL like the plague, their customer service is fu(king shite....when I left them they didn't send me a bill for months and after I had contacted them 30 odd times they went back on a promise to credit the account and close it and then passed my details on to a debt collector.

If you google ntl complaints you will find a myriad of sites dedicated to the shit service they provide. Don't get me wrong, when it works its good, but god help you if you get a problem!

Go with Tesco broadband! Always read the small print, most companys say 'unlimted' but it isnt.

I recently got broadband with Wanadoo/Orange. Great customer service, plus we got it ordered, installed and running within 3 days.
Up to 8mb connection, and broandband internet phonecalls package for £14.99 a month.


(pretty good I thought, considering I was paying £22.99 for 1mb connection before we moved house)
