motorola v3x problems

bought a brand new motorola v3x still sealed in the box off a mate for the missus.

But the problems started after puttin her sim card in. Every time she tries to make a call it comes up "call failed" even although there is a full signal. I myself also have a motorola v3x so i tried my sim card in it and the bloody thing still wont make calls. Tried her sim in my phone and my phone works fine with her sim card.

So wonderin if the phone was nicked i checked the imei no. out on a website and its says that the phone is kosher, its not nicked or lost or anything.

anyone any ideas?? as im totally out of them now. Any help would be much appreciated because im totally frustrated now!!

Who are you with? I get that with my phone and im with o2.

Not that often but it does still happen sometimes.

Its brand new, take it back and get a decent phone instead of a fashon accesory. Thats what a guarentee is for.

marcatate if you do a master reset on your phone that should cure your problem if not do what i did and reflash the firware on the phone!!!

plus i got the phone from ebay so no guarantee there!!
