CBR400RR info please

I hired this bike when I was out in Thailand it was a CBR400RR as far as I know. But I was just wondering if anybody knew anything about it really.
I've seen the older shape one with the little round head lights, but never this model,this one must have only been a few years old going by the miles on the clock and the condition it was in. Is there any like this one around in the UK? or am I just blind!!
It felt pretty fast and was dam loud.
Not sure about the Rossi numbers or the lego man helmet they gave me but the bike felt fantastic.

Looks like a Gull Arm to me with after market fairings.

Although I maybe wrong.

Yep it's a NC29 Gull Arm, you can buy fairings for it to make it look like that.

But doing so is a complete waste of time and money imo.

They also do kits for the NC35 30 and some others i cant remember off the top of my head.

They are reasonbly priced and was thinking about getting a kit if i was to get and RVF.

But you have to go to the extra expensive of getting them professionally painted which costs extra, and Explain why you dont it when you come to sell the bike, because no doubt they potential buyer will think the new fairing is on there because at some point the bike has went down the road.

Also It seems a bit of waste to spend all that money on a 10 year VFR.

I would only consider doing this to a good condition 98+ RVF as at least it would still work.

I agree with Dom and Craig. It's an NC29, you can tell from the shape of the frame.

Personally, I'm not too keen on the tyga bodykit, it doesn't fit the bike as well as the original fairings - making the 'kinked' frame look odd and out of place.

Only just noticed the little woman on the front aswell

It did look in good condition but I suppose if its been down the road and they've changed the fairing, its probably had lots of other new parts and old parts cleaned up. Maybe even the clocks which would explain only having 2k on the clock.

Not sure if I'd wanna spend the money changing the fairing, but it does look really nice IMO, brings it upto date a little.

Thanks J4P ive been wondering about some new fairings for my CBR. The lights are a bit crappy but otherwise there bang on. If you could get some more pictures that would be good.

It looks good, but there's a few little design niggles about it that are really winding me up. I think the seat unit's front edge (under the tank) should be more sympathetic to wither the kinked frame or the line of the bottom of the tank. The screen also looks a bit shite, too. If it was a little steeper, tiny bit shorter, and extended down to a point rather than curving round above the headlights.

Apart from that, it looks spot on. I reckon silver would have worked better instead of white, though. With a black pinstripe
