Hey, well some of you know i had a crash about two weeks ago, when i come off i knocked my self out when i come around my head was on the grass but the back air vent has a small chip out of it on the left hand corner ( its stuck on i think ) anyway when i looked on the inside of the helmet the Polystyrene seems to have a few dints in, there also seems to be a few from the edge of my handle bars, not to pleased as it was only a month old.

any help would be great guys, ill add some photos.

To be honest, if you've had an impact on the lid hard enough to knock yourself out, I'd replace the lid, it sounds like it's done its job.

If it were a particuarly expensive lid you may be able to get it replaced under your home insurance policy (assuming no one else was to blame).

Personally I would get a new helmet.

It is recommended that after any drop or dink it is replaced as you can not be sure how much internal damage has been done to the impact absorbing filling.

However, it's your head Thumbs Up

If you managed to knock yourself out then your head must have taken an impact of some sort. For your head to have taken an impact whilst wearing your helmet then I can only conclude that your helmet took an impact too. I would suggest it may be wise to replace the helmet looking at the facts stated unless you know any different details about exactly what happened and what hit what etc.
