Never been pulled but the first time I decided to go out after my CBT a police car slowly went past our road. Just typical, but all was fine. I had to follow him slowly for a bit Shocked

Been tugged a few times. I only ride a NSR 125 but as soon as I pull the lid off and the runt sees I am not a kid on a ped everything seems to be ok........"Your so right officer, I should know better. I will bear everything you have said in mind and behave myself".

Have never been on the receiving end of even a producer. Just nod your head, put your hands up (so to speak) and apologise. They tend to be a lot nicer.

I got stopped for not speeding to overtake, I was on a dual carriageway doing 65-70ish(I had a F650 at the time), I moved over to pass a lorry doing about 10-15mph less than me.
yes I looked and there was nothing to close to me, nearly passed the lorry I glanced in my mirrors to see a headlight in each one, though "what cock end, im not speeding to let him through", once I'd past the lorry I moved straight over to the left, at which point I noticed it was a police car. at that point the lights etc came on and they pulled me.
Fare enough I though a spot check, over walks Mr plod, being polite, I explained I couldn't hear him to well as I had ear plugs in, so I toke of my helmet, that when it got silly!!!, he saw I was only young I was 20 but looked 17, straight away he toke my keys and put me in the back of the car. Didn't take me long to noticed his partner was a probationer and he seemed to be trying to show off abit to his young friend!.
I asked why I had been pulled over and he told me "people like me cause traffic jams" to which he got the reply "oh ok can I have it in writing I can speed and you'll saught my points out", now I know getting wise ass with the coppers isn't clever but he was a cock!.
He then went on to deny I was overtaking a lorry and I was just in the right hand lane for no reason!, so his observation skills must have been good to miss a sodding great truck!! Rolling Eyes .
I ended up with a producer as he couldn't do me for anything.

I have had the normal spot check in Matlock, just tyre's, tax & can.

No cars had had probl;ems passing us until mr Plod turned up in his big volvo to have a chat and then blocked the junction! He then said, "i'll let you off as i'm a biker", let me off what you knob!!! You're the fucking problem here... now fuck off...!!! Evil or Very Mad

That reminds me. I have been pulled twice. The second time was for overtaking a police car.

He was driving really slow, about 15mph in the 30mph zone on an estate. When I overtook he flashed me, pulled me over and started asking questions like: 'Why did you over take me'.

I was like: 'Because, you were driving really slow and blocking traffic!'

He said: 'But, I'm a police man'.

I said: 'Doesn't matter, it has nothing to do with it. You were driving slow and blocking the road, I overtook without excess speed and gave you plenty of room'.

The he said I was been checky and I better watch my lip or he will do me for it.

I just shock my head, got on my bike and rode off. The wasn't anything he could of done.

Never, so far. Angelic

T'other half got pulled for the first time in years on Saturday though. Couldn't do him for speeding as no equipment and the police (on a bike) didn't even have him in sight most of the time (lol so he may have been a teeny bit over the limit but the police bike had to go damn hard to catch him) and he carries all his docs and is 100% legal so no joy there.

Except..... his number plate fell off last week due to a dodgy nut so he put a temp one on whilst waiting for the new one he ordered through work. Guess what? His numbers were less than regulation size so he got a £30 fixed penalty. Rolling Eyes Even though he explained about the temp plate and offered to ring the shop so his boss could confirm the new one was on order.

Here's the best bit though. Guess how much too small the letters were? 2mm. Two fuckin mils! This guy was determined to do him for something, couldn't believe he was so petty. Evil or Very Mad

I see your point, but, does that mean they speak for every other police officer in general?

Stereotypes are a bitch! Wink

Bit harsh that mate.

I got pulled for the 1st time in about 7 or 8 years the other weekend for overtaking a line of cars whilst a police bike was coming the other way, got fined for my small plate which was taking the piss to be fair so no grumbles there.

Fair point. I guess they won't act like an arse hole if you don't.

Like you said, just annoyed at the stereotype malarky!

I have been pulled on my NS125 5years or so back, and i'm not an arse hole thanks. Not all coppers are bastards, just because you've had a bad experiance with a copper, i'm sure he's had a bad experiance or two with bikers.... If everyone is nice to each other we all get along.

Yup, on my way to work on my 125 with Ls I was pulled firstly because I looked like a "young lad who'd nicked his big brother's bike"
secondly to give me a lecture about overtaking (which I smiled sweetly through and promised never to do again)
and thirdly to prod my bike to see if they could find anything wrong with it - they didn't.

Still got a producer though - boooooo!

Group of us got pulled on the way to a rally. Just as the lecture was about to start, a rather loud rat went past us at full bore. The copper told us to "wait here", jumped back in his car and shot off after the rat. Of course, like the law abiding citizens we are, we waited. Until our mate had retrieved the stash out of the bush he had just thrown it in, and off we toddled to the rally.

So if you are out there, Mr mystery rat rider, thanks Thumbs Up
