An 'air conditioning' vest for under your leather jacket. and I dont mean a t-shirt with holes in it, i mean a vest fitted with an evaporative cooling system.

i.e. you can go out in the blazing heat and stay fresh as a daizy inside.

I know someone who is now manufacturing them and I need a ball park figure of how much people are willing to pay.

If they were on sale for £499 would you buy one?

I think the impracticalities of it would outweigh the advantages, so I wouldn't buy one at all.

not much mainly because in 2003 I invented one and got the unit price down to £90 , patented it and tried to flog it to people , it didn't sell well.

Damn good invention, however, i don't see how its gonna be practical. I don't fancy a bulky gizmo jammed down my jacket.

I don't ride on excessively hot days, if i have to then its not many in this country. I guess that if it was done smartly, un-obtrusively then i could be tempted to part with £200 of my hard earned.

they make those things for racing cars already , cost £130 , you fill em with dry ice and plug them into the ciggie thing and it pumps the coolant around.

don't do it! , think of the danger of it first , you want a back pack with hard metal parts in it , who in their right mind would want to wear a back pack while riding with hard metal parts in it, fall off and you break your spine,

hmm id be more interested if it extended to the arms as well, ive found thats where i feel the heat most when im stuck in traffic, and gets coldest in winter.
