Telling the time?

How do you all tell the time on your bikes?

I know you can get Oxford sticky clocks.

Any other more ingenious ways?

Anyone got a sundial?

I dont have a clock on my bike and have never really needed one. But if i did need one i would just attach a watch around my bars, simple and cheap.

a lot of newer bikes do incorporate a clock in the speedo/tacho set up now.
I'd buy a cheap nasty watch, cut the strap and glue it on somewhere.
I have seen a key fob incorporating a watch too but that probably won't want to sit so you can see it properly.

In the film Easy Rider Peter Fonda throws his watch down in the road when they set off on the bike trip - way to go!

From an old VW polo, wired straight to the battery with a in-line fuse and the back light is connected to the other clock lights.

i just use my watch, if i really want to know the time that bad i just pull my wrist out of the jacket so i can see my watch then relax to let the glove/jacket join up again.

My mobile/PDA sits in my mini-tank bag - one tap of the screen through the window and it shows me my Today screen - with the time on it.

For longer journeys, the same system shows me the time beamed via Atomic Clocks on the GPS birds.

Cheapest waterproof casio digital watch I could find. Popped the strap off and used sticky back velcro to attach it to the headstock. It's not illuminated constantly at night, but there is a big button on the front to light it up if necessary.

I have one of those bicycle digital speedo's on my bike, just above and between the rev couner and speedo.

The actual digital speedo doesnt work as i ended up chopping the wires as i got pissed off trying to get it to work.

But it does tell the time and thats what i use
