You know just abit of general info on your first taste of freedom , I thought the best way to chose my first would be hearing what you guys started with learning from your mistakes so on and so forth bla bla bla At the mo torn between an nsr125 or an rs125 |

I did
CBT
DAS
Bought a '91 ZXR750 for £1200
I toyed with the idea of a 125cc before dong the DAS, I am so glad I didn't and went for the full unrestricted license.
On the CBT I rode a CG and a Yamaha SR125 on the start of the DAS, both very different bikes and equally good as well as equally bad.
Test some bikes that you like the look of and go from there, you may be surprised at how different bikes are like to ride. ____________________ Current : MSX 125 Past : CBR 900RR Monkeybike : c50 LAC : ZXR750 H2 : FZR600 : ZX7R P3 : YW100 : TRX850: Trophy 900 T309 : GSXR 600 L0: Monkeybike : XJ6S Whosthedaddy

Yamaha R6. I was worried at first because of all the negative comments i read & it being my 1st geared bike. Went around in a lil carpark & found it rather easy to control & adapted to the bike in a few minutes. As it's my first i've learnt my mistakes on this bike & it's been good to me. I was determined to get it & i did.
1 month later & shes still great, shes getting sold soon tho.

My first bike was a 1998 Kawasaki ER-5, It cost me £2200 in 2001.
Was ok for the first few weeks then the problems started, if I could go back I would've bought the 2000 Honda Rebel 250 I ended up buying 9 months later instead.

My 1st was a Honda NS125R, picked it up on ebay for £620 in september just gone, Dropped it 3 times only ended up with a few scratches, ended up with electrical fault, sold in march for £670 and got my CBR125 now. NS was a pretty good ride and is almost identical to the nsr so i suggest it. |

Pretty nippy mopeds Puchs. Why should you be embarrased? You should be the one laughing, I bet it did a genuine 45mph, cost next to nothing to insure and never broke down.
All for £20. |

My first, and current, bike was a Rieju MRX 50 Castrol. Great little bike, but i kind of wish i had gone for some thing a little older and a little cheaper. I ended up paying 1600 for it but it did only have 500k on the clocks and a brand new one would cost about £2000. ____________________ Rieju MRX 50 Castrol Edition |
