Are there any members who have an interest in something that is really mundane and pathetic? Liek completely out of your own personality?
Mine is...
https://www.bbc.co.uk/london/travel/downloads/tube_map.gif
The London Underground.
It's really sad, I live 150 miles from London, yet whenever I have been there I get an air of excitement when I go on the Underground, it is so full of history and is completely different to anything we get down here.
I'm so sad that I religiously watch "The Tube" on Sky Three at 3.30PM on weekdays.
I have browsed every word and picture on the internet to do with the history and functioning of the London Underground.
An actualy dream of mine is to become a train driver for the London Underground.
The only wish I have now is that a PC Game similar to Train Simulator comes out with you being able to drive every track on the Tube, from the Northern line, to the new Jubilee section, right back to the days when Aldgate East station was functionable.

You sad git
I'm sure a bloke I know had a video of the Circle Line as filmed from the driver's cabin.
Bet that was thrilling.
EDIT: Having said that I have a passing interest in quantum and astrophysics |

I tend to be a massive fan of certain nerdy pieces of television etc.
I've watched every Simpsons and Futurama episode to date, 3 or 4 time each at least (I have 15 tapes of recorded Simpsons aside from all the DVD seasons ) and I absolutely adore Calvin and Hobbes.

I'm also a pretty avid South Park watcher.
Oh and I play hockey a fair bit. |

Even more sad is that one of my favourite songs ever is: - Down in the tube station at Midnight - The Jam. ____________________ Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who supply it. My Sky+ box has about 8 episodes of Bushcraft that I haven't seen yet. I've a fascination with "simplicity"; any subject, and I like to know what the bare minimum is to produce results. Bushcraft is breaking living down to it's most basic form.

My sister went on one of his courses and loved every minute of it. I fancy going, but it's booked through 2007...

I have a bit of a geeky/odd taste in television, my gf and mates take the p!ss but it's better than the mindless drivel they watch.
-Discovery Channel - Extreme structures, Extreme machines etc etc
-Robot wars
-Ray Mears(repeats )
-How it's Made(Discovery again) - each episode is completely random- i.e peanut butter, plasma TVs and false limbs!
- Men and Motors - (really poorly produced classic car shows/motorama).
- Takeshi's castle (provides my comedy)
Oh and I've seen jsut about every 'most amazing video in the world' about 5 times. ____________________ GSXR600 |

Anything on the history channel. I'm a massive history fan. I get completely over excited when I go to castles or museums. I think it's amazing that when I'm in a castle, I'm touching walls that have been touched by people hundreds of years ago lol. I think I embarrass anyone I'm with at the time!
My biggest obsession is Ancient Egypt. I've been fascinated by it, and anything to do with it for as long as I can remember. I have a little Pharaoh that sits on my desk. ____________________ Never have a row with an Idiot, they drag you down to their level then beat you with experience. |
