drink driving under 18

Although i dont drink and ride, iv always wondered if the same drink drive limit applys to under 18s as it does to over 18s. Iv had a look around on the net and cant find any thing about it.

Any one on here know what the rules are for under 18s?

If you 16-17-18 whatever and you drink and drive/ride, you wont be driving/riding for a long time.

It will be exactly the same. Under 18s can drink in a restaurant if they're having a full meal, and they can be given alcohol by their parents at home.

Remember its not illegal to drink under the age of 18, it is only on licensed premises.

It is legal to drink in a restaurant at 16, if you are having a meal, you can only drink beer, wine or cider (not spirits) and someone over 18 has to buy it.
