i have been pointed to this forum from a kind person off of "Traffic answers .com forums"and have pasted the below as it was as it says a pleasure to be passed by these lads and/or lasses,in the hope that somebody from this groupbelow may read it,any way thanks to whoever you all are,

"I was travelling on the A161 today between Crowle and Goole at approximatly 11.30ish am,when i noted a huge amount of bikes approaching me from the rear,i hope that perhaps maybe one of them might read this, the way they aproached the trafic that they caught up with and then past them was a credit to the biking fraternity,no bullying or nipping in and out or cutting people up but all done with ease and grace and such proffesionalism,it was a pleasure to be passed by these lads and lasses, thanks to these people they have restored my already battered faith in them( bikers),i do hope that perhaps some one from out of this large group reads this or gets to know about it because i think they throughly deserve this praise,if only the baduns could see them do this and think that was great i have to try that too, once again ta lads(and lasses, possibly),
best regards to you all,Clive,
made my day,cheers."

Go to a football match and look at the people around you. The crowds are all supporters of the game; all are supporting the same team. Yet they are not all the same people, you wouldn't want to socialize with them all after.

Please don't group all those who ride 2 wheeled vehicles as just plain 'them' or 'bikers'... Rolling Eyes It's degrading and unfair... We are not all the same, especially as most also drive cars as their main form of transport. Considering the average age is now over 40 that 'hooligan' who overtakes you dangerously is more than likely your manager at work. Think about that please before saying what is dangerous and what is not for a mode of transport you more than likely no little about.

From a car driver's viewpoint filtering and close overtaking do indeed look very dangerous. On a bike however you are much taller, have a better view and are riding a vehicle with almost 10 times the power to weight ratio of a car. It's not nearly so dangerous to us.

could have been a charity ride/memorial ride for somebody, happened once in Cornwall a few days before I joined that group, I was on the A38ish and passing lots of bikers wondering why my old vintage NTV could out do 600s and 1000cc super sports, turned out they were going via convoy on a charity run for one of their fallen riders.

didnt mean to offend or patrionise anyone(forgive the spelling) just thought credit where credits due as i am quick to condem the idiots and yes they are, and also the minority, perhaps i have read it wrongly i know its hard sometimes to understand what others mean as i do it myself,if i hav,nt then bye all,
best regards,Clive.

Come on folks - give the fella a chance.

We're all good at slagging off car drivers so it's rather nice to receive a compliment once in a while.
