Bought this to fill in for my knackered zxr, and its surprisingly good Shocked 540 mile round trip to get it but its superb! 26k miles mot and tax til april next year, and dyno printouts for 89bhp and dynojet kit, full new micron exhaust system, new tyres etc. I think I'll be keeping it for a long time, oh and it made 150mph on the home bound trip Thumbs Up gonna use it for touring soon.

Its pretty ugly though I guess Laughing

Oh and ignore the yard furniture, it was getting thrown in the skip later on...

Cool, the old girl's still got it then - 89bhp isn't too bad for a CBR of that vintage.

Doesn't look too bad if you squint a bit (at least it's not fridge-white).

Need to clean calipers then jobs done Praying

Its certainly not the best looking bike ever made, but there is something about the old school rawness and charm that I am being drawn to the more bikes I see.

On my FV you need to take the rear left hand side panel off, and then you find you only have enough space to fit the owners manual in there Very Happy Actually you may need to take both panels off. I've not done it since I got the bike as its such an arse about and TBH you dont need to take the seat off to get at anything.

I know how to get the seat off lol, its the one thing I hate about mine.

you have to take the rear side pannels off and then there are two bolts holding it on either side, then you undo them and then you can take the seat off. You can use the ignition key to undo the clips that hold the sides on, they are located directly above the footpegs.

there is a little hole in the side of the tray under the seat on the left hand side so you can just take one side off ot it and slide things in to the tray.

its a bitch. and if you ask me a pretty stupid design flaw

I quite like it, I wouldn't say its ugly at all, but then again I have never owned a bike larger than 125 so I suppose its going to look good to me maybe lol. Fuggin bargain for 500 notes though no complaints there I bet! Thumbs Up

This bike a permanet thing or a 'for now' bike? I only asked 'cause it's filling in for the ZXR you killed.
