Was reading a one of those magazines on the plane whilst coming back from Kenya and discovered a number of alternative fuel powered vehicles, including this beast :O I cant see it going very fast tbh, but its a cool step towards greener energy sources, pretty cool look to it also https://www.treehugger.com/files/2005/03/env_hydrogen_fu.php ____________________ Proud owner of a Honda CG 2005 model with 1005 Miles on the clock - Bought on 19/12/2005 |

this is soo old I remember talking about it a year ago,
heres what I think I said
thing is it weighs in <100kilos , which means they have 100 kilos to play with to increase performance , since no matter what manufacturers tell us bikes weigh in around 200 kilos wet.
snip
and who says its green? , currently its probably WORSE than petrol, why? , to produce hydrogen we use electrolysis on water , electrolysis is highly useful for say refining titanium of aluminium , but is HIGHLY energy intensive , since we still burn coal for electricity the pollution is not reduced it is just displaced,
rather than C02 coming out your tail pipe it comes out a big chimey in a nearby powerstation.
unless like Honda Island in Japan (I don't know the real name but is has a huge Honda tech facility there) where hydrogen is produced by hydroelectric power tapped into underground rivers.
added to the fact that hydrogen does not have the same energy density as petrol you need lots of hydrogen = lots of electrolising water. ____________________ Spain 2008France 2007Big one 2009 We all die. i think a bio diesel(chip fat lol ) bike would be better i think for a petrol alternative . Diesel bikes already exist and wont need much if any ajustment to run on bio diesel and i belive you dont need to process the oil much
oh and very few emissions apparantly ____________________ Obtained Full Licence 31st of July

maybe they changed it to make licencing laws easier leccy bikes = no helmet (recommended though) , no licence no tax no MOT and no insurance , to some people this is a huge advantage. ____________________ Spain 2008France 2007Big one 2009 We all die.
