Wahay, yesterday on Week 2 day 5, it was the first time I never actually thought about having a cigarette, even though I work in a convienience store and had to put about £10,000's worth of fags in the cupboard.

YES! Very Happy

The only time I really crave for one is on the bike.

Everytime i'd go down to the beach and sit on the seafront having taking a drag from a cigarette was so satisfying.

smokers make me laugh. Ok if your going to smoke, then smoke, people do it because they enjoy it (why - its beyond me, its like suicide) if someone who smokes stops enjoying it and begins to dislike it then they should have the will power to stop. Someone who says " i really wanna quit" but yet remians to smoke, doesnt actuall mean what they say.

well i am a doer not a sayer. Confused this is my first time quitting and i dont intend to go back to them. i cant understand why people go through getting off them and then go on them again. thats a waste of time. you just ruined all your efforts.

i made some silly mistakes when i was young going on them but now is the time i make up for them and learn.

least i can now tell people what my experiance is in giving themup and i was a chain smoker rather then talking to someon on the smokers helpline to never smoked a cig in their lives, (this happened on my first day) kinda pointless having that employee on that line i think.

i got a really sore throat now which is one the withdrawels and a medical tomorrow for my new job so i hope it dont get worse.

looks good for medical cause they look at your hands for stuff and no embarassing yellow marks.

NO ONE LIKES A QUITTER!!!!!

Only kidding, keep it up. I really should get round to stoping but I've 400 cheap fags in the kitchen. My brother in law drives a coach and keeps brining them back. It'd be a shame to waste them! Wink

i know what you man dark. i put it off for years cause of all the stress i had and now was the best time as i live with parents again and not started new job yet.

i took my first psycho other day, one them days where everything that could go wrong went wrong. i had people being cheeky to me everywhere i went and i was trying to keep my cool allthe way and that just annoyed me even more. if i where smoking i think i would have devoured them for there insulting attitudes towards me.

my medical for my new job didnt go well either. the only thing that did go well was i meet up with the chopper club for a drink and ride out down town.

I have smoked a few fags in the past, but it didn't make it want more.

Think my dad quit about 8 years ago, just stopped one day and has never had another one.

Just costs so much money to smoke, i would perfer to spend £200 on a suite then on fags at the end of the month.

i went into the shop the other day with a few pound and i could not find a thing to spend my money on cause i always bought fags. it was weird cause i was still thinking i needed this money for fags and not nice things. i ended up buying mags and treats for myself and chilling out at home in the garden with them. thats never happabed before. so i cant wait to get paid again so i can go buy some cloths! and get hair done.

10 days now and its still good.

i cant find anything to spend my money on as i denied myself so much in the past to buy cigs. i got paid and i still have money and bought myself a new bike jacket Very Happy happy days!

my mate phoned other day to say how hard it was being off them and she smoked less than me?? it isnt that hard to me. thought it would be so much worse. think people think about it to much.

few times yes i have wanted one but not enough to start again.

i smelt someone other day walked out of a shop that smelt like an ashtray and i was near sick Sick did i must have smelled like that? i hope not! well def not now i wont, cause i smell nice and i can smell my shampoo now lol

this all sounds like silly wee things i notice but they are very encouraging to me as i smoked for many years.

I don't like putting a dampener on things, but you are using patches, therefore you still have nicotine in your body. Don't become too complacent because once you come off them, the real struggle starts. Smile

Don't even think about cigarettes anymore and the desire to have one isn't even there.

I can safely say now that if someone offered me one I'd confidently be able to say no.
