Kev - Think I've said this before but, my mates DT125 struggles can't get over 50mph. Do you think you could work your magic and get a bit more out of it. Apparently you have to take the exhaust off and fiddle with the power valve. I know you need a race can but he doesn't really want one?

when my oil pump on the nsr went the engine ran short of oil, upto the point where hardly any oil was getting in and hence fuck all smoke, then it siezed about 2 mins after I noticed and fixed it it was too late.

The smoking will be because the engine is running at 2/3 rpm, but the throttle will be wide open therefore the oil pump will be working at near max and the engine wont be burning the oil off.

Hence, engine smokes alot.

Sounds like the top end might be buggered. My derbi lost 15mph of the top end because the rings got stuck in the piston and lost compression.
