Best thing for texting for free was ICQ when everyone used to use it. THey could even text back to your ICQ messenger window.

Because it comes with every copy of window's, and most people who use the net have no idea whats good or not they just use the first thing they find.

I mean we now have 'Windows Live Messenger', another bag of shite that's only just given you the ability to message someone who's offline.

As posted, CardBoardFish is good for texts and has worked for me for years and its free with no registration, and you can get replies. So why Pay? Wink

never had any probs sending txts from my O2 account. never mentioned it as i thought you had to be a PAYG or contract customer to register.
