Look what i borrowed for the weekend

At my local bike meet this week, out of more than a hundred bikes, the only one that had trouble working to leave was a ducati. Im sure they work fine most of the time tho.

Okay, Gave the bike back yesterday and here are my thoughts,

Its an absolutly awsome machine, no overly keen on the looks, but other than that i cannot say a bad thing about it,
The slipper clutch is by far the best thing in these new gsxrs and im already missing it, the one thing that bugged me was since i got the duke i calmed down a fair bit, when i got back on a gixxer i was just riding like a loon topping 100mph everytime i rode it, if even to work.
It handles long distance just fine, its smooth in traffic it does everything.

If you want a bike that does EVERYTHING the 2006 GSXR750 is the bike id go for.

i wouldnt want a 600, the 750 has the perfect balance of revvyness and out right speed.

What can I say, Im very tempted mate. But Im not sure if it would be worth swapping as by the time I got half way home on it , it would be time to take it back to you. Unless you wouldn't mind swapping for a week?

my k2 750 was great the K6 was Awsome.

I did like my Gixxer750, it was such a good alrounder, it was my only transport and it done everything well, i just got bored of it and its looks.
I wanted something a hell of a lot more different and im glad i did.

You cant go wrong with a gixxer, but for a pure do EVERYTHING bike id get a 750, not that i would say no to a thou.

The k1-3 is nice but I think the K4-5 is a better and nicer Bike (600s) . Jury is still out on the K6 though

The slipper clutch in the K6 just kills the previous models, its godly.

anyway of transfering the K6 clutch over to the K1/K2?


also wave you should have undertrayed the K2 & flushed the indys then it would have looked KIN LUSH!!!

I'll be tempted to buy a K6 next, but I've had 2 Gixxers now and I think I should try something else. Not really sure why though.
