Urgent Bulb Help...

Hi all, got me a new headlight unit foir my bike and its got a shitty 12v 35/35w bulb in there, and its got a twin pin kinda connection, but there little round blobs. i was going to put my H4 bulb in there but its too big for the unit, so what can i use? or were can i get an uprated bulb from?

on the bulb i got it says... 12728 S2 PHILIPS DUPLO 12V 35/35W E1 2D1 / G4

Post a pic of your bulb. It sounds like a Bosch fitting but your description is next to useless

It is a bosch fitting so you probably ride a scooter or old Honda which probably doesn't have wiring rated high enough for a halogen.

Why buy a cheapo light unit?

I did that with my GS5 earlier last year, bought one of those streetfighter style ones from M&P. After a day the first bulb had blown, and after 2 more days the 2nd bulb had blown. After replacing the bulb with the same type as came out, the plastic sheild around the bulbs started to melt and it became a rather interesting melted mess

After speaking to another guy at hunstanton a week or two ago, he had exactly the same one and his did exactly the same thing.

As you said yourself - thats budget stuff for you.

I would personally stick with the original headlight

Ask Paul@125power, he added a Xenon bulb to his CBR125 and it went 150MPH at night.
