You've got them on the wrong way around silly!! You are meant to have the thicker end of the triangle towards the front. That way if your bike had a normal can on the side it doesn't touch it as the can angles upwards towards the rear.

I know yours is underseat, but fashion is fashion Wink

On a serious note, I don't know to much about a ducati's exhaust arangement, but does the bit that is touching the panniers get hot?

The seat is yellow because my duke is a mono ( one seat) and cannot take luggage, i bought a biposto seat off ebay to hold my luggage, it cannot take pillions because i need a biposto subframe.
But its alright for touring, where the biposto seat is longer i just wedge something under it.
Thats cardboard which is temp just to see what it looks like, it would probably catch fire.

when i properly fit them it shouldnt be too bad and if they do touch the carbon fibre cover which is what it is, dosent get too hot, never too hot to touch anyway.

between 2000-3000 miles, last time on the cbr400 i did about 2400.
and this time we are going for longer and going to the isle of skye.
