Hi,
Nearly came off of my bike earlier while turning right onto a dual carriageway and hitting a massive gouge in the road with my front wheel.
Spoke to a mate on MSN about this, and he said another guy he knew on a Bandit came off a couple of months ago on this gouge.
Have been searching the web for a way to report it, and found this:
https://www.bmf.co.uk/report-a-road
Seems like a pretty useful index, get naming!

Excellent, been wanting to tell them about a very badly pitted corner near my house. |

Sorry to be so negative, but what are the chances of them sorting the roads?
Is it based on a kind of score, so roads with the most reports get looked at?
On the dual carriage way from Tewkesbury to Gloucester (via Combe hill) in the right hand lane the road is so poor it makes your bike bounce, and this is on a long right hand bend, if you didn’t know about it and went to overtake with pace you could end up coming off badly.
I know what your saying Tobes, the huge holes that I see around Cheltenham have been there far too long now, I seriously have no idea why they haven’t been sorted. ____________________ Cleverly disguised as a responsible adult.

Damn impressed. I just got a call from them saying they'd been out to inspect it this morning, and that it wasn't posing any immediate threat at the moment but that it was due for re-dressing later this year.
Somerset County Council, damn good service! |

you wana try North Yorkshire County Council, now they are a waste of space!
you report a road to them and someone may come out and look then they give a lame excuse to the agenda of 'it is well within limts' or 'is due an inspection later on this year' bloody tight fisted lib dems
on a funny side a road near acomb has lots n lots of pretty coloured lines on it, and the council comes every now and again to add more colours to it
oh and their repairs on some roads are crap! their guys really need training to make a good lay of tarmac, most repairs last 2 weeks before they fracture ____________________ A scientist crossed a skunk with an owl. He's got a bird that smells but doesn't give a hoot |

LMAO.
Dear Somerset CC,
The M5 needs to be widened to 4 lanes. I expect there to be 4 lanes in 2 days. KTHXPLZ. ____________________ Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who supply it.
