I was nearly killed by a rider 2 weeks ago.

Took my side of the round around a blind bend doing about 60, cut accross my path about a metre in front of me.

RIP Crying or Very sad

Notice both bikes are on the center line....Hmmmm

From the report.....

"What we can say is that both men were travelling in the opposite direction and were each on the correct side of the road until shortly before the crash happened."

I think they were moved there together, out of the way, as a crash as bad as this would send the bikes flying Sad

I regularly go to Willingham Woods near Market Rasen and theres been some very close calls in recent times, a few lads have flipped their bikes, but theres been no injuries.

The only result is that the whole area is policed like mad on a Wednesday night now. Theres speed camera vans everywhere along with unmarked and marked police cars and bikes arouond the area and at the venue itself. Have to be really careful now Sad

They wouldn't move the bikes as they are vital evidence for the crash investigation team. Looks like showboating gone wrong. Sad

There were calls today for meetings to be suspended until the cause of the crash is known.

WTF, 2 guys run into each other and they feel obligated to call a halt to a regular meet. Thats bullshit.

Shit if everytime cars had accidents they did this there would be no-one on the roads.

I hate when they try to apply restrictions like this simply because it involved bikes.

Ok I don't know the reason for the accident but there is no mention of unsafe riding, although I'm sure it's been suggested.

What a farkin piss take.

fuckers Middle Finger

oh and unlucky boys

im part of a group that one of the bikers was a member of and his name was wheelie john.

john had enterd the 1km wheelie competition and elvington and was extremely good at it!

every where has meets where bikers do silly speeds this is why they are trying to stop it cause the people involved can not police it properly enought etc.

the speed tripple was wheeling (wheelie john) and the two storys are they both collieded when they was both wheeling and one is the guy on the blue gsxr pulled out with out looking.

for any one who's intrested there is a bike meet @ the tap in eastham @ 7pm in name of john.

R.I.P WHEELIE JOHN! Crying or Very sad

This may sound harsh, but it goes to show how dangerous unsupervised stunting is, if there was someone there to allow only one bike out at a time then fair enough, or even if they were practicing a routine together. 'tis sad to see a biker go, but at the end of the day, they took and understood the risks, and by performing wheelies etc.. on public roads, they not only endfangered themselves, but put the lives of others at risk.

I hope the deaths arenb't in vain and that people learn from the afforementioned tragedies, rather than being over confident and earning themselves a place in the graveyard.

Jack
