I don't think it has anything to do with you mate, there are just an ever increasing number of idiots who should never have passed their test. Like the chav in my street who drives round our cul-de-sac like a prick in his XR2i. What he doesn't know is that I have noticed his lack of tax (and probably insurance) and I am going to grass him up.

If he drove considerately, I probably wouldn't grass on him but he deserves not to be on the road for a while, at least.

Cheers

Grim

i agree there are some wankers out there on the road i am out alot on my bike and there is not one day i dont see someone doing something that could cause a serious accident.

last night i was saling up the sea front (in a bike not a boat) and some arse hole coming the opposite was decided to overtake a lorry leaving me looking at a big merc flying towards me at great speed! wtf am i suppose to do apart from shit myself! no regard for anyone else at all. it was close alright i felt like stopping ust to get my heart under control.

ever notice when drivers be arseholes they look at you like you done something wrong?

while driving into a road and trying to cross it on to another one a lady came hammering round the cornor and slamed her breaks on! she should have slowed long before then on a cornor coming up to a give way sign instead of staring at me crossing! she prob would have been half way out on the dual carriageway had she not stopped for me crossing.

indicators are not an optional extra!

my bro had both his mirror ripped off his car by passing cars once in a car park and the cilprit was no where to be seen and the other was on the road when someon was to far on his side. they didnt stop.

Would not be surprised if this driver had no licence anyway.
Probably not supposed to be in this country either.

every week there is at least 6 foreign driver that are banned or get loads of points for things like drink driving, no tax, mot etc.

why are they allowe to drive over here? they cant drive right and cant read the road signs. they park all over the place and are a danger. thats the ones i have seen here anyway.

liek it when they pull up to the dole office in there big mercs looking for houses and they get them!

Yeah, and it's probably about 60 UK born drivers get banned every week for shit/dangerous driving. Foreign drivers are the least of our worries.

Every day I encounter and normaly anticipate an idiot car driver.

Today was an old women, who pulled out on me at a round about, then went to the middle lane, then pulled off to the left. (1 exit, yeah all this in one exit)

(I had seen her, but not even I thought she could be that daft, I thought she might pull out, but not to the centre lane, then to do an immediate left, over a 2 lane exit).

I sped up and shouted (open window), that she shouldn't be driving if she couldn't see. And asked her if she was trying to f****ing kill me. She just stared straight ahead.

I sort of feel guilty for swearing at her, but you did have to see what she did and I only swore the once.

dude, i know the feeling. I've had countless incidents with cars just not seeing or even looking at me!

first few were at roundabouts: as I'm coming round cars just pull out even though i have right of way! forcing me to slow down to an almost standstill mid roundabout! not what you want!

I was on M1 the other day in the middle lane. i notice the car on my left sliding over to my lane! i figured he would pull out in front of me. sure enough on came the indicators, no over the shoulder look and bang, out he comes. i had to swerve into the fast lane (but i knew there was a van already there!). i ended up pulling some crazy manouvere which avoided hitting both vehicles, but my hand went straight through the vans lower mirror, causing extreme pain in one of my fingers! i still had 30 miles to get home which i managed and went to casualty later that evning. i'd fractured my finger! luckily there was no damage at all to my bike, or either vehicle.

then theres just general riding! Cars pulling out of driveways etc.

it all serves as lessons that we have to pay so much attention when we're out riding! look out for drivers that just aren't as careful as they should be. not fair i know, but could save your life!

the cops have stopped picking on the locals now and just chase them instead.

know what you mean about the roundabout. i was on a run one day and som arsehole cut me up on one and attempted to run me off the roundabout while i was in the correct lane coming off the roundabout. he pointed at me and swearved infront of me. the rest the people where with me got angry and chased him and he turned off down the road without indicating. must have shat himself to.

Pity you weren't on something bigger else you could have chased him down and beat him like a circus monkey. Fucker Thumbs Up

I hate nothing more than someone who has no farkin clue on the road and does something dangerous and when you point out the error of their ways using your longest pointing finger Middle Finger they react like you were at fault.

I tend not to have a temper and don't get mad. I have nearly become road kill and even given em a nod to say its ok when they wave to say 'shit sorry mate' .

After about 5 minutes of thinking about it, I think you dickhead that guy near killed you and all you can come up with is ...no worries.

From now on I'm gonna learn to express myself on the road a little more often.
Even just to pull up and politely educate the twat that while I can appreciate that shit happens, it would happen a far lot less to us bikers if ya numb nut drivers would KEEP THEIR EYES ON THE FUCKIN ROAD AND THOSE AROUND THEM !!!!!

oh and did I say "FUCKERS"?

Why do so many people (dragonfly, firefox, doggone, DEN MONKEY and fast_tzr so far in this thread..) seem to think they own the road? Everything is blamed on 'stupid cagers' or whatever race you want to be racist about today yet the rest of the forum don't have problems with all these bad drivers every time they ride anywhere. Think about it.... Rolling Eyes
