If you want to get a bike but do not know how much insurance is going to be for it how can you find out,in the magazine BIKE they have some in the back are these true guides or not.So ok just passed your test and want a say TT600 or a GSX750 how do you find out roughly how much it is going to cost you?
If you have to search and phone up insurance companies that really sucks there should be a standard insurance grouping and the rest upon age postcode etc etc

By going to internet sites which deail with lots of brokers say MCD and entering YOUR specific details into the questions asked,

then taking these quotes to insurance companies and hassling them on the phone

-10% usually with minimal haggling
-15% with a bit more work
-25-50% if you really do try and undercut quotes


EDIT standard quotes do not exist there are too many variables to consider an average person, its not just location vs bike vs NCB vs experience

its more like

Location vs bike vs age vs job vs use vs milage vs mods vs bike value vs storage vs NCB vs qualifications.
