my nsr needs a new mot on the 20th of next month i think and i got a question

ok now theres this metal bit that holds the speedo cable and it bolts onto the inside pannels sort off see the pic's. i had to take it off because i fitted new indi's and the bolt that holds the metal thing is the stem of the indicators, now my new indicators r kinda diffrent so i couldnt put the thing back on.
will my bike pass the mot with out it? if it wont i will have 2 drill a hole and put a nut and bolt were or near were it was before.

this is how it is now

As long as it doesn't interfere with steering movement there is no reason why it should fail. However, just be aware that it will run on the fairing and will damage itself/the panel. If its rubbing on the panel I would probably stick an advisory notice on it.

For the amount of work involved I would do it properly and drill a hole.

I doubt they'd fail your bike for that, as McJam says as long as it doesn't interfere with your steering you should be ok
