well i just test ridden the bandit six for the old fella all was fine, forks are a little soft, any ideas? (not leaking or anything) engine sound sweet as a nut, no rust just a couple of belt scratches on the tank (no tank spine)

1999 model
11k on the clock
top box, oxford locks new tires, chain and sprocket
stainless downpipes with a nexxus can
1 free tie wrap (the clincher)
£1600.

It's one of those Nexus full systems aint it?
Looks like alot of bike for the money, as it happens I've been riding a 2005 Bandit 650 around all day and also serviced it. Rode very well and had great midrange, really pulled well. Stuck it in 4th coming out of a 40MPH zone and just pinned the throttle to redline and it pulled like a train upto 110MPH. I machined up some spacers to put in the top of my bandit forks, can't remember how large they were - 10, 15 mm?
Also went for a heavier grade oil. made it alot better, but progressive springs are the way to go  ____________________ You ain't a has been if you never was |
