Actually, a Divvy will serve you fine as a first bike.

Was it a faired or unfaired one you seen? I have an unfaired Bandit and its great, although I have heard not so good restricted. You can get a 400 though which may be better at 33bhp. ____________________ Someone complimented me on my driving. They left a note on my windscreen, it said "Parking Fine"

I love my bandit 400, Great bike. If you are going tp get one, make sure it is a import, they have the variable valve timing giving it more HP. It also has a complete stainless exhaust as standard and they have twin discs up front unlike the UK versions. And I'm not sure what they are like with restrictors as mine erm... fell out? I have herd that the 600 doesn't take to restrictors too well but I'm not too sure how true this is?
