Sub ?25 Chain and Locks, Help needed ...

Hay all,

Need some good advice and links for Sub £25 lock and chain kits ...

Also sub £10 Disc Locks or basically both for sub £35 ...


Chain wise i was thinking:

Mammoth Lock and Chain

The mamoth lock is only really good as a deterent , and to prevent over zealous parking attendants at the end of the day moving your bike (yes they do move them), however better than nothing and busters does it at an OK price everywhere else I've seen it does it for £45+

I would definatly go for the mammoth lock and chain as its a good price and good peice of kit by the looks of it, and order the free disc lock with it. Postage and packaging shout only be £5.

Try having a look in your local B&Q. I picked up a Masterlock chain from there, 1.8m long with those rotating links instead of a chain - This gets left attached to the washing line when I go out - too big to really carry on the bike. That was somewhere in the £20s mark

Well, i've ordered from Busters ...

Ordered the Mammoth Chain and Lock (1.8m) and also ordered the free Disc lock to go with it ...

I think it was a pretty good deal too as the total was £24.95 and ive seen the chain and locks for around £30-£35 in some 'bike shops ...

Lets hope it gets through fine and all my details are kept safe and i dont get any trouble ...

I use the mammoth lock is amaising bit of kit to have. Really heavy and aparently hard to pick and cut through. And my when my dad saw it he said you could hit anyone trying to steal your bike with the chain lol
