Mine was same for cost of theory and test, but £50 for 3hr lessons, with a £5 extra for rental of bike. That was at BCMT

I wouldnt recommend anything, and nor should anyone else who hasnt seen you ride. Book a lesson, and they will tell you if you require further training. Thumbs Up

I'm learning with BCMT, its currently £50 for a 3 hr lesson inc. bike hire Thumbs Up

I was going to book an A2 course (3 days training and a test) but they said just book a regular lesson and we will assess your current riding level.

Had my lesson and they said book 2 more lessons and we will put you in for your test Very Happy

I'm just booking my test now. Gonna just go and do it without lessons. I shouldn't need them after 14,000 miles of riding. I'll just have to remember all my mirror checks and lifesavers. Very Happy

You can pick up a lot of bad habbits after 14,000 miles. I would say you should do at least 1 lesson, at only £20 its worth it just to pick out any mistakes you may be making.

I'm paying £455 for....
4x 3hour lessons,
1x 3 hour session for the test (a test route tour and the test itself)
and bike hire for everything.

Somw ould say that I could probably get by with only 3x 3hour lessons, but in my opinion, an extra lesson/tour of the routes can only be a good thing.

the longer you ride the more bad habits you will pick up that the examiner will fail you on but are fine in normal use, just like all test the way you drive for your driving or riding test is nothing like the real world
