It's the same theory test for mopeds as it is for motorcycles. You can take your practical moped test aged 16 and you have to have the theory in order to sit it.

Book a moped theory test aged 16 and then sit the practical motorcycle test aged 17.

If you want to ride a moped you can take your theory test when you are 16, but again you must make sure you have a valid provisional licence.

The only theory I took was when the examiner asked me queations from the highway code at the end of my test. All the test involved was riding around the block four times and he was standing on the corner watching with his clipboard.........Ah those were the days. Mr. Green

Dont listen to anyone except me, ok?

If your 16 book your theory online, just like i did when i was 16.

I did my motorcycle theory test when i was 16!

Turned up on the day, gave the guy my licence, he checked it and said nothing more. Didnt even ask how old i was.

You can do it when you are 16, although any authority you ask will say 17.

Thumbs Up
