Well?

I've heard some people put the balls of their feet on the pegs, some angle their feet out so they're not touching the brake/gear levers.

I personally rest my foot on the rear brake and hook my toe under the gearshift while riding...

I thought this was the norm... Is it?

Insteps on the pegs.

Left toes at rest under the gear lever, right foot at rest just over the brake pedal.

I probably look like a right twat, but heyho. Smile

See my earlier post.

The pegs tend to be somewhere around the middle of my foot.
However i've been accidentaly getting toes down so I need to be more careful.

My pegs sit in the middle of my foot and i tend to let them loose wich end up with them facing down but my right foot is always just touching the bottom of the rear brake ready to flip round and hit the brake, and when i brake my foot comes off the peg and the whole foot sits on the rear brake if you get me ...

Kinda odd but my right ankle doesnt have enough flex to be able to sit with brake under my foot all the time ...

Luke.
Thumbs Up

Yeah, I'm too lazy to keep it hovering above.

And my rear brake sqeals like f*ck, so I try to not use it as much.

Dependant on if using brakes/gears a lot, ie when riding on dual carrigeways/motorways, i put the balls of my feet/toes on the pegs.

Best and most comfortable position is for me touching the balls

balls of feet on pegs for me

and i kick the gear lever up with a whole leg movement rather than a foot twitch, no false neutrals that way

if an examiner cared (unlikely) he would probably prefer you to have your feet further forward, so you can operate the foot controls without a lot of foot movement

however balance is much better with balls of feet on pegs

Angled outwards when riding so no pressure on the gear selector fork, tuck them in when leaning round a corner because I've got size 14 flippers.

Just about here.
I've got big hoofs so toes scrape easily further forward, plus it's ideal for loading the pegs with more precision.
