Yup, sounds like a con which means you have a choice:

Ignore it.

Play them along until you know for certain.

If you ever seen "present condition" and "asking price" or "final price" it's obviously a scam. Rolling Eyes

What was the name? Think I had it yesterday from a "max.ruddy"

I asked him to come and pay cash, in person, and I would also like to see his UK license.

I also slipped the word 'mugu' into the mail. Lol.

He'll offer you a cheque of probably several £k's and will expect you to give him the change once it clears. He will insist a courier will pick up the bike. You wait 3 days for the cheque to clear, give him the change and await the bike to be picked up.

You will then find the cheque actually hasn't cleared after about 2 weeks and you will loose all the money you have given him back as change.

Common Scam. Play them along to help waste their time.

Ask them to meet you at Heathrow.

Immigration will pick him up, detain him, and send him to me.

Job done, problem solved.
