OH MY GOD

is all I can say!

everything went great, U turn spot on, emergency stop spot on then THE INDICATORS ON MY BIKE DIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was like OMG OMG instructor saying go right i couldn't bloody indicate so had to just pull out gets to dual carrage way i used my arm signal to come off the roundabout then the arm signal for stopping.

He then had to cancel my test. I am mortified to say the least. Left my bike at side of road and went back in his car. Could have cried.

Cancellation next friday so back to wales again to do it again.

Gutted however these 3 days has made me such a better rider loved it. And the guy was ace would recommend him to anyone.

Gotta say i am exhausted now though, n typing this on my pda so excuse spellings etc.

Thats a bummer Sad Sounds like you won't have a problem with the re-test though so just keep your focus and think of the test you just (half) did as practice !

Its not the first time that people have failed due to mechanical failure of the bike. The examiner should pass or fail you on the merits of your riding not on the ability to complete the test route on someone elses bike.

Shame on the bike school Thumbs Down

Good luck next time Wink Thumbs Up

Really bad luck having it cancelled when it sounds like you were doing so well.
Still, I'm sure you'll nail it when the time comes.
GOOD LUCK Thumbs Up Wink

Good job I am off work next week too so i can do the retest. I dont have to pay again Eddie (the instructor) is paying for that and he is also paying all my expenses to get back to Wales for the re take. He is a sound bloke.

I love riding cant wait to pass. I was quietly confident about passing as Eddie was correcting all my mistakes on the first day off the DAS so by the second day I knew what I had to do to pull it out the bag and he said I had improved ten fold by the end of the 2nd day.

I am debating whether to get on my 125 this week for practise or just wait now until Friday as I will be out with Eddie frm 9am till about 11.15am (test is at 11.45 again).

Would you go out on the 125 and practise or just hold off and wait.

i am off to look at a Z750s today as I really like them and think I poss need a faired bike after feeling the wind on the A55 at 70mph. God i love riding. Thumbs Up

Hello skort1uk,

No harm in practising ( u turns etc), although I found the 500cc easier to ride than the 125cc. I would think about whether you should get a bike with fairing as a first bike. Most people drop their first bike ( me including Sad ).

Good luck with the test!

Cheers

Billy

Its good that you dont have to pay again.

Maybe a good idea to practice on the 125 in the mean time, but the test will be on the 500, so just relax, get plenty of sleep hope all goes well next time Wink
