its not illegal in this country but it can be in some other countries, not sure which.

if someone doesnt see you when you are filtering and hits you, it can be counted as sort of your fault even though filtering isnt illegal

id suggest not filtering at speeds more than 20mph faster than the traffic you are going past

filtering between cars shd be fairly safe, but if a gap opens on either side, be aware that a car may switch lanes without looking

also look out for pricks who object to you filtering and will try to block your path
