Hi

I just had a look at my brake disc on the front , one side looks all shiny and metalic , the other all black and a bit scored, its supposed to wear evenly and hence be shiny on both sides right? ,

This is generally an indication to strip down me caliper and adjust the brake pads before ruining my front disc right?.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

As mentioned, have a look at the pads/calliper condition.

The discs shouldn't be overly shiney - too much would indicate a glazing. They should look clean, not too coloured, and have a very slightly 'worn' feel to them - but no gouges, rings or raises edges.

as said ,, time to remove caliper/ check pads i suspect there knackered, also now you can check caliper out. is it one or two piston ? either way make sure piston/s move freely.
