Ahhh, so its not just me that has never watched a single Anime movie in their life then?

Thank fuck for that, I thought I was an individual for a minute.

I really have been tempted before, but never actually seen anything.

May have to take a look now.

right... wel after searching everywhere for that film, im utterly dissapointed.

The visuals are indeed pretty, but teh plot is rubbish and very tenuously stringed together. perhaps worth it if you are bored one sunday afternoon

I still wouldn't dismiss it though, good viewing..

Akira was my first ... absolutely brilliant ... recommend it as an intro to the style for anyone Thumbs Up

Sky Blue looked good, had a little atmosphere, was technically delightful to watch ... but left me feeling a bit flat.

Ghost in the Shell was a disappointment ... confusing and not enough heavy arms!

... at a slight tangent ... the Animatrix collection is brilliant as a taster for a handful of different animation styles Thumbs Up

I saw part of a short film once, haven't been able to identify it or see it since ... it featured a guy (ex cop/ ex army?) working for an organisation ... the way the organisation got him and his aids to work for them was to threaten to detonate implants (neckbraces?) to kill them after a set time, unless they completed their mission ... any ideas?
