Cadwell's a cool track.

Read the FAQ at the top of the page.
Main tips are to relax and enjoy yourself. There are always going to be people faster than you, so just go at your own pace.

The other thing is to eat little and often. You'll underestimate how tiring it is. Get there nice and early, preferably the night before, and get a good night's kip.

When you line up to go out for the first session get out right behind the instructor leading and follow his lines, braking points etc.

And collar an instructor at some point in the day, get him to follow you and watch your riding, they're good at giving advice.

Cadwell isn't a track that can be learnt in the first session. Just take your time for the first few sessions and up your pace througout the day if you've not ridden there before.

Coppice can be taken quicker than you think, and the hair-pin you can't, there is very little run off.

It's my favourite track and is really good fun. Thumbs Up

Hoist a minger over the mountain for me mate!

Charlies 1 is just a lovely blindish sweeper and flows well after coppice. Charlies 2 is indeed quite strange. Highside teritory but wide enough to take a variety of lines.

Scotty, FFIW after Charlies 1 you want to get as far left as posible as you reach the crest Thumbs Up

Charlies 1 is only slightly spoiled at first by the strangeness of Charlies 2 IMO

I found it quite difficult to make myself use all the track to the left on the exit of the first Charlies and until i started to get the hang of that always felt uncomfortable in Charlies 2

Took me until the third session to be anywhere near 'right' through Charlies... but oh yes they're great when you get them right.

Just don't worry about running wide exiting Charlies 1 as it'll give you a good line into 2 (cheers G Thumbs Up)
