Can't believe how the prices keep continuing. Over £1 per litre where I am. The goverment is so fucking greedy.

Cheers for posting that link, petrol around me is generally about 96.9p but on a recent trip up loch lomond the petrol was 106.9p, i nearly died when i saw the price. Forgot to say thats jst ordinary unleaded fuel. Shocked

If you actually look through the site it says that the percentage of tax on petrol is less now than it was tens years ago when the Conservatives were in (72% now, 76% ten years ago).

Quite often the oil companies use the budget as an excuse to put up prices even if there hasn't been a tax rise.

When all is said and done though the price of petrol in this country is disgraceful.

Yeah, but unfortunately at the time petrol wasn't at that price, so the amount of tax wasn't quite as much. If you see what I mean.

You're right though, price in this country is outrageous. Thumbs Up

Yes but 72% of about 60p is a lot more than 76% of about 20p. Hence the ridiculous prices we pay. I'm looking to get out of this country soon, then you can all keep your toll roads, petrol prices and chavs.

Petrol is approx 55-60p litre

Booze and fags are cheap too (200 fags for £9, bottle of bells for £8)

That is why they want to remain an independent state Smile

I get an email from them twice a week updating me of the cheapest 5 petrol stations close to me.

Really good find there, ive just found unleaded at 95p per litre, ive been paying £1 dont make much difference as i have ars 125 but" every penny is a prisoner ".
