Right i can get the front wheel quite high and keep it there for about 3 seconds lol but carnt keep the thing up!!! any suggestions?

practise, that's the only thing that will help you!
Are you keeping them up from the power or balance point? I presume its power, once you hit the balance point and learnw here it is you don't need any power really to keep it up.
learn where the balance point is and try shifting from 1st to 2nd while your at that point, should give you more revs to play with.
it's incredibly difficult though, I could hardly wheelie my fully kitted out Senda.
