i have recently bought a Suzuki sv650 1999 (T). when i got it the rev counter wasnt working so i took it apart and found that the needle was jammed down on the dial. i have pulled the needle out so it is rotating freely now but the revs are running backwards. resting at 13000 rpm and on revving going anticlockwise.

any suggestions why this maybe??
