hi i'm new to biking and have been riding my cbr for 2 weeks now, i have this problem sometimes when im slowing down to stop the gears will not shift down, this leaves me in a high gear so i cant pull away without stalling. i was just wondering if anyone else with a cbr 125 had this problem or if theres something wrong with the bike although its brand new thanx.

Used to get this all the time on my cbr 125 when I left my braking a bit late (t'was learning you see...) and suddenly needed to stop fast.

Im guessing you a pulling your clutch in (in say 4th) and then quickly trying to get down to 1st. Its a pain but when you find you cant shift down any further, ease the clutch out, the gear should then 'click' in (you'll know when it happens), then pull the clutch fully in and knock it down to 1st as per usual. Hope this helps.... it should do.... maybe.... Confused

Its easily done Wink

Just try and change down before the bike has stopped at a standstill.
