absoultly gutted! only got 7 minors. but the examinor took me on a motorway which i'd never been on before. and say "the a406 doesn't start until the underpass" he repeated 4 times.

what the hell does that mean! should have turned onto the centre lane but when i went to he stopped me. Why did he not just say. "join the motorway or something" so harsh

i am well p***ed off

Learners are not allowed on the motorway.

I had trouble with my intercom on my test, the beginning part kept being missed, so all I heard was '..at the end of the road', this went on 3 or 4 times, constant tapping of the helmet. I was on a duel carriage way and approaching a round about.

I took a wrong turn at a roundabout on my test, it has no bearing whatsoever on the outcome. It just annoys the examiner a bit as he has to modify the test route slightly.

there a link coming out of walthamstow ave on to a very long slip road. and i failed to join dual carrage way and go under roundabout. so busy at lunch time in london on that road! and way sort of command is "the a406 starts after the undercarrage."

I hate the way things like that lead to a fail, surely you're being assesed on everything associated with bike riding, I can't see how grasp of the english language or comprehension of misleading instructions has anything to do with you ability to ride safely....

I failed my first test as the instructor took me into a 10mph zone but directed me into half way down and at a T-Junction where the 10mph zone sign had been ripped out the ground, so plodded along at 30mph as usual, only two minors aswell. Think he knew that as when I said at the end of the test he just giggled and said you should have been more aware....

Anyway keep you're pecker up so to speak and book another ASAP...

if you were in the middle lane and you were joining the duel carriage way then it was maybe your road positioning it is correct that you are judged upon your riding skills but you are also judged on how you maneuver the bike in traffic whilst not becoming a hazard to other road users..even though you may not have been on that road before you should position your self and beware of your surroundings after all you will travel abit when you pass and buy a bigger bike so you need to know other roads,I was also took on some roads I did not know in northampton and thought where the hell am I going but just took my time rolled back on the throttle and kept me eyes peeled
best wishes for next time and try to keep your minor faults down as you only have 15 I believe.

but the nearest date is oct!

iam i not seeing the usual cancellations becouse my login deatils know that i cannot take test unil 23rd Aug?

when should i log on to book to make sure i get a cancellation? do they only appear 3-4 days ahead ?
