In all Honesty she'll probably never accept you untill you've been together for a few years...I've been in the same situation with an Exs' Mother-Always slagging me off and this and that and she helped to Split us up as the Ex was still Titty Reared if you get what I mean (even though we were both 18/19 she couldn't break away from Mommy).....

In the End the Ex wanted me back after a few months of being a Slag and the Mother finding out about it, the Mother said I was the Best thing that had happend to her Daughter and wanted her to get me back.....By that time I'd moved on.....I still see around every now and then but I'm happy were I am but even after 8/9 years you can see she still wants me back.....

Ive never had problems with gf's Mum's, only bloody Gf's Dad's. The ex who split up with a month ago now, her dad hated me, i fucked up in first 6 months of relationship by getting insecure, and making gf cry, and he and her sister held that mistake against me for the rest of the time we were going out, just dont do what i did and let it bother you and eventually like i did, went off on one at them and ended up kicking off

Why not try getting mother on her own, explaining to her you really like her daughter and you will not hurt her etc. Thats what i should of done. But if its doesnt last, plenty more nice women out there Good luck

Ever since I met my G?f's mum we've got on brilliantly. I think the first impression helped as I'd come straight from work so was in my suit!

Get on well with her step dad as well. Was on the head table of the wedding when her mum and step dad tied the knot. Some of the kids are married, but i was the only "partner" that was top table!!!

I get on well with her real dad as well, though she has cut contact with him now. Meeting him was the scariest ever meet the parent moment I think anyone could ever go through! He's a rather "well known" man in certain groups of people where they live! I'll clear a few things up.

Kims mum has a boyfriend, a big black one. So i don't think i'll be trying it on anytime soon.

I've met Kims real dad, he was sound.

A few other side notes which go against me:
Kims mum was speaking to my mates mum at work, unfortunately this particular mate has been sent down for dealing and has a lot of female friends (not all sexual partners) which they regularly speak about so i'm guessing Kims mum just thinks i'm another drug dealing/taking/dodgy b*stard and i'm using Kim..
Everything is just seeming to go against me. Although i've told my mates mum to put a good word in for me.

I suppose i'll just have to see if she changes her mind over time...
