NSR125 want start. HELP.???????????

Problem:


My nsr125 foxeye's been in my garage for the past 3 months. I took the bike out a few days ago, charged the battery and tryed to start it. But it want start. Nothing. No click, no engine turning, nothing.

whats the problem with the bike? could it be the solenoid???

2) Fuses?
3) Battery connected properly

Kill switch is set to off. Fuses and battery ok.

Have you tried bump starting?
Are the lights coming on?

I tried bump starting it. It still want go.
the lights work full beam.

I think it might be the starter solenoid.

The starter draws a lot more current than the headlights so will give no indication of a duff battery, a healthy one will be just over 13v so if you have a multimeter check it. If you can't bump it I would drain the fuel tank and fill it with fresh petrol. The carb may be full of gunk where the float bowl was left full so may need attention, pop a fresh spark plug in and have another go.
