Well, much to my complete shock, something is wrong with my RS125...

Was riding around, slowed down from 40 for some traffic lights, when i'd come to a stop I noticed I wasn't ticking over... electric start gave nothing (It tried though), wouldn't bumpstart either.

So, guesses?

probably dirty plug

mine tends to foul plugs a lot

get the spark plug out, wipe it with a bit of kitchen paper, then the green scrubby bit on a kitchen sponge, then a brass wire brush

then put it back in

Snapped altenator belt?

Does the engine fire and run after a jump start?

it could be the battery isnt charging cos the rectifier has gone

in which case, charge the battery and see if it works for a few days

Could always try giving a local Aprilia garage a call, , maybe they have came across this before ?
